𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐂 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐅𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐫𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐬

The Acting Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Mrs. May Agbamuche-Mbu, today presided over the Commission’s weekly meeting, with preparations for the upcoming Anambra State Governorship Election dominating the agenda.

The meeting, held at the INEC headquarters in Abuja, served as a critical strategic session to review the Commission's readiness for the crucial governorship poll in Anambra State.

Beyond the immediate focus on Anambra, the Commission also initiated forward-planning for a series of forthcoming elections for the 2026 Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Area Council elections, as well as the Governorship Elections in Osun and Ekiti States.
