‎Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde has arrived at the State House of Assembly for the presentation of the Oyo state’s 2026 Appropriation Bill.

‎‎TruthVanta reports the governor, who arrived at the house at about 10:41 AM was accompanied by top members of the Executive Council, and was received by the principal officers and lawmaker of the Assembly before proceeding to the chamber for the session.

‎The plenary, where the governor will present the state's budget for the 2026 fiscal year is currently in progress, and being presided over by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, who welcomed the governor and commended the collaborative relationship between the Executive and Legislative arms in the state.

‎During the processings, the speaker announced that the governor, engineer Seyi Makinde has submitted 8-man nominees for the state Independent Electoral Commission, OYSIEC, and Auditor-General.
