𝐎𝐥𝐮𝐛𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐛𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝, 𝐎𝐛𝐚 𝐋𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐣𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐭𝐢𝐤𝐮-𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐞

The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, Arusa 1 on Tuesday received a delegation led by former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, at his Bodija Residence. 

Atiku in his speech apologized to Kabiyesi for their absence at the Coronation ceremony, citing Protocol Logistics as the reason.

He prayed for a peaceful reign of the Olubadan and on behalf of the delegates, presented a congratulatory letter to the king.

Oba Ladoja while responding acknowledged their apology and thanked the delegation for coming to visit. He also debunked reports that the visit was political and stressed that he left political office a long time ago.

Present at the visit were, the wives of Oba Ladoja, members of the Olubadan in Council, as well as the team of the delegation; Mallam Adamu Waziri, Kassim Shetima, former governor of Rivers state, Liyel Imoke, former Senate president, Iyichia Ayu and the former Governor of Kaduna state, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai.
