A former Deputy Governor of Oyo state, frontline gubernatorial aspirant and Chieftain of the All Progressives' Congress (APC), Engr. Rauf Aderemi Olaniyan, has congratulated the Olubadan-designate, His Excellency, Kabiyesi, Oba, Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, on his ascension to the highly coveted throne of Ibadan Land.

Engr. Olaniyan, during his visit to Kabiyesi, Oba Ladoja at his Bodija residence described the Monarch as a man of destiny whose remarkable journey to the throne of Ibadan is a testament of divine grace. 

He referred to Oba Ladoja as a great Leader , who will certainly deploy his endowments and wealth of experience to drive unity, peace and the development of Ibadan Land and Oyo state in general. 

The former Deputy Governor, who is also a mentee of Kabiyesi, Oba Ladoja, described this moment as a moment of light and transformation for Ibadan and the entire state. 

He said Kabiyesi, as a committed holder of tradition, shall project and promote the rich cultural heritage and tradition to the delight of all and will inject honour and glamour to our traditional Institutions, while driving developments, as the Leader of his people. 

Olaniyan wishes the new Kabiyesi divine enablement, wisdom, strength, good health and longevity on the throne of his forebears and pray that his reign brings forth a more united Ibadan Land and a prosperous Oyo state in general.
